Inauguration of the Migrant's Monument

Friday, 11 July, 12.00 - Bucharest, International Bus Station Rahova, Şoseaua Alexandriei 164, the official inauguration of the memorial plaque announcing the Migrant's Monument.

The plaque is a work by Veda Popovici produced in the context of the exhibition Because We Navigate on Different Lanes, opened at Salonul de proiecte / MNAC Anexa, and is generously hosted by Rahova S.A. Bus Station on one of its outdoor walls.

The plaque is dedicated to all migrants, from within and outside the national borders, "to all those who worked, traveled, loved and suffered", irrespective of their ethnicity and nationality. The plaque highlights the similarities between the experiences of migrants, by they Romanian citizens or non-European migrants.
